So you are having friends over for a dinner party and you want to impress them. Or maybe you are a DIY couple who wants to ensure. When creating a tablescape you should take these factor into consideration.
- Color Palette
Choose a color palette, this will help the overall design to look cohesive. (you can easily pull a color palate out of 1 or two inspiration pieces that you know you want to utilize)
- Consider the Details
You already know how I feel about details!! They make everything so don’t forget to sprinkle in unique little elements that help tell the story of the celebration. ⠀
- Florals
If you are adding flowers, try to add ‘in season’ florals, it’ll help your budget and it will enhance any outdoor view/ceremony by blending indoor/outdoor (also consider lush plants to add greenery around)
- Candles
Add in candles, Candles, CANDLES! They are the easiest (and most gorgeous) wedding tablescape ideas and they add instant ambiance to any room. Placement is everything, you want to make sure the candle height is appropriate and doesn’t dry out or burn the decor around it.
- Vary Sizes
Finally, size matters! Play with low/medium/high elements to add dimension to the table. Always be conscious of the height as they may not allow for conversation across the table.
