How many weddings do you plan per weekend?

Events by Yosira, LLC operates as a boutique service planning company – that means that we plan one event per weekend to ensure we are not over-committing and we give our clients the time and attention they deserve!

What makes your service different than other coordinators?

We bring 15+ years of project management experience. We are organized and task oriented. We pride ourselves in being efficient and prompt to respond to our friendors (vendor network), guests and of course YOU, our client.

How do you determine which vendors to recommend to each of your clients

We tailor all vendor referrals to fit the specific client based on their style, personality, and budget. After meeting with you and getting to know more about you and your wedding, we send you vendor referrals that are selected especially for YOU!

How early should couples start to plan their wedding? Hire a wedding coordinator?

Between 9-12 months prior to the wedding date is a good time to start planning. You don’t want to wait until the last minute and feel overwhelmed. We recommend hiring your wedding coordinator right away, even for the ‘Day Of’ package. You’ll want to get a contract signed to ensure the coordinator is available for your wedding date.

What is the difference in a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?

A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff and wedding details that are directly related to the venue (and sometimes the food and beverage as well) to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event &/or they have other events they are overseeing on property during the same time. It is not in their job description to confirm your

How much does a Maryland/DC Wedding Coordinator cost?

On average our couples invest on average $2,200 dollars for our services – but your price will depend on a number of factors (location, size of your wedding etc). We encourage you to schedule a consultation with us to determine which services will best fit your needs since each event is different.

I am planning a destination wedding in the Maryland / DC Area, but I live in another city/state/country, can you help me?

Yes, we can!  We are very comfortable with out-of-city/state/country clients and communicating via phone, e-mail, and video conferencing.

What areas do you service?

We are based out of Annapolis, Maryland however we service areas in the North East to Mid Atlantic regions of the US – and love to travel!

Will you work with vendors we select, or only those you recommend?

We will absolutely work with your choice of vendors, however we have a great team of preferred vendors that we work with should you need any referrals.

A coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful & flawless while taking that stress & duty off you and your family. Just like you, your friends & family want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.
